Job Title: Support Worker - Brain Injury and Learning Difficulties

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with brain injury and learning difficulties to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and ensure the individual's safety in the community and around the home
  • Support the individual to pursue their goals and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's family, therapists, and Case Manager to ensure comprehensive support
  • Provide practical assistance with daily living tasks and promote independence
  • Support the individual to participate in activities and hobbies, such as cricket and sports

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with brain injury and learning difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional nights away
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate
