Job Title: Support Worker - Young Adults with Brain Injury

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Location: Gloucester

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young adult with brain injury and learning difficulties in their daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and ensure the individual's safety in the community and around the home
  • Support the individual to pursue their goals and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's family, therapists, and Case Manager to ensure comprehensive support
  • Provide practical assistance with daily tasks and activities
  • Respect the individual's cultural beliefs and practices

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with brain injury and learning difficulties
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
  • Patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional nights away
