Caseworker Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our team at Victim Support Gloucestershire.

As a Caseworker, you will be working closely with victims of crime, providing them with individualized support and information to help them navigate the criminal justice system.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services that support the commissioners and their service goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client
  • Providing information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process
  • Working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns
