About the Role

We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team at Solo Support Services. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a learning disability and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Support with physical and social activities, including swimming and trampolining
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, their family, and other professionals
  • Work as part of a team to provide a safe and supportive environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support in a person-centered way
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
  • IT skills and ability to use technology to support the individual
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Time and a half paid for bank holidays and double pay for Christmas
  • Contracted hours and bank hours available
  • Shadow shifts paid at £12 per hour
  • Full training provided, including Oliver McGowan Training and Positive Behaviour Support Level 1&2
