Job Title: Support Worker - Young People

Eclipse Properties Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join their team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with the young people, their families, and other professionals to ensure they receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Assist with educational and training activities, promoting their personal and social development
  • Encourage and support young people to take responsibility for their own lives, making informed decisions and choices
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring the young person's needs are met and progress is tracked
Requirements:
  • NVQ (QCF) Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working with vulnerable young people
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • A current DBS check
  • Full clean, UK driving licence
  • IT literacy - MS Office
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and report writing skills
  • A flexible, empathic, and supportive attitude
  • The ability to work autonomously
