Job Description:

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based in the dynamic borough of Greenwich, South London. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a KS3/KS4 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality SEN support to students, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff, other professionals, and parents/carers to develop and implement individualized plans for students.
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills, emotional well-being, and academic progress.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of SEN needs and experience working with children with diverse abilities.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training, issued within the last year.
  • Hold a valid enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
