Job Title: Special Education Support Assistant

Estimated Salary: £95-£105 per annum (full-time)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to support the educational and developmental needs of students with complex learning and behavioural difficulties in a primary school.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers in a classroom environment, providing one-on-one and group support to students with complex needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Adapting lessons and activities to meet the needs of children with SEN
  • Supporting students in developing social, communication, and life skills
  • Monitoring and recording student progress

Requirements:

Candidates should have previous experience working with children with complex needs in a primary school environment, a relevant qualification in special education or child development, and strong knowledge of various learning needs, physical disabilities, and behavioural disorders.
