Job Title: Privacy Legal Counsel

Entain is seeking a highly skilled Privacy Legal Counsel to join our Data Privacy team in London. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Legal Counsel and UK DPO in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing transactions across the capital structure, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate transactions.
  • Manage ancillary transaction and other corporate documentation, including NDAs and engagement letters.
  • Support the preparation of internal papers summarising proposed transactions for review and approval by the board of Entain plc.
  • Support the business on other corporate initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer with experience either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Degree-level qualified in a relevant field, such as Legal, Privacy, or IT/Comms.
  • Commercial contract experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Process orientated and excellent attention to detail.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation and other international data protection legislation.
