About the Role

Franke Coffee Systems UK Limited, a global leader in coffee technology and innovation, is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our international IT support team. Based at our offices in St Albans, this role offers a unique opportunity to extend your impact to teams in Manchester and Falkirk.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support within the UK.
  • Handle joiner/mover/leaver processes using ServiceNow.
  • Support standard applications (Microsoft 365, Adobe) and manage software provisioning (System Center Configuration Manager).
  • Install, maintain, and provision client hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, barcode scanners) and peripherals (printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines).
  • Provide telephony VoIP support.
  • Offer network support (Local Area Network) and monitor Wide Area Network and Server Virtual Machines.
  • Manage mobile devices and contracts.
  • Conduct introduction and training sessions.
  • Contribute as a team member to various projects.
  • Act as a local contact for Platform Services.
  • Handle quotes and the order process for hardware.

Requirements

  • Relevant educational qualifications.
  • 3 years of work experience in the IT Service Desk area.
  • Experience in ICT service operations.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL.
  • Broad technical skills in hardware, operating systems, and software (Microsoft, mobile devices).
  • Basic technical skills in Server Operating Systems, network (Meraki), and storage (Simplivity).
  • Basic application architecture knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Independence with excellent team skills for collaboration with IS specialists and key users.
  • Open and communicative, enjoying interaction with people through telephone and Teams support.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (approximately 20% within the UK).
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written).
