Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Operations Manager will be integral to the success of Beira. This role encompasses the management of all restaurant functions, including staff leadership, guest satisfaction, sales enhancement, and brand development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily restaurant functions, focusing on staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
    • Maintain a pristine and inviting restaurant atmosphere.
  • Team Development:
    • Recruit, train, and nurture a skilled F&B team.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
    • Provide continuous training and support to team members.
  • Guest Engagement:
    • Deliver outstanding service that surpasses guest expectations.
    • Build lasting relationships with patrons to promote loyalty.
    • Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management:
    • Devise and implement strategies to boost revenue and profitability.
    • Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
    • Manage the restaurant's budget and ensure effective cost control.
  • Menu Innovation:
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to curate and enhance the menu offerings.
    • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
    • Stay informed on culinary trends and best practices in the industry.
  • Marketing Initiatives:
    • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing strategies.
    • Utilize digital platforms to enhance brand visibility.
    • Engage in community events and initiatives to promote the restaurant.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager with a strong background in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the local dining scene and a passion for Scottish culinary traditions.
