Job Opportunity Overview
Shropshire Council's Enable Supported Employment Team is seeking an experienced Disability Support Specialist to join our team as an Employment Support Worker on a temporary basis. This is a casual/ad hoc role, requiring flexibility to meet demand, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities or health conditions, focusing on developing skills for independent travel, job roles, and community activities. As part of our team, you will contribute to promoting inclusion and empowering service users to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to clients with disabilities or health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalised development plans to enhance clients' skills and confidence.
- Foster positive relationships with employers, families, and carers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Conduct outreach and education efforts to promote disability awareness within the community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support services for clients.

This position offers an attractive salary of £16.95 per hour, with an approximate 20-hour workweek.
