Grocery Sector Sales Director

We are a leading manufacturer seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team in Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and expansion into the grocery/discount sector.
About the Position
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail sector and be able to build strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Your ability to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic plans, and negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional programs will be critical to your success in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop key accounts to drive sales growth.
- Identify new business opportunities within the grocery/discount retail sector.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional programs to ensure profitable partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams.
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced National Account Manager with a proven track record in the retail sector. Experience with accounts such as Next, Argos, Very, Dunelm, etc. is essential. Additional experience with Grocery/Discount retail would be highly beneficial. Category experience in Homeware, Furniture & Home Decor is required.
What We Offer
A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role will be based in Manchester, so commuting to the office is required.
