Job Title: Non-Executive Board Member

The Growth Company (GC) is a leading social enterprise that supports the growth and prosperity of places, businesses, and individuals. As a Non-Executive Board Member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's strategic direction and ensuring its continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization's leadership team.
  • Ensure the organization's financial plans and results are aligned with its strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and report on the organization's risk management and compliance practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements:
  • Hold qualifications as a qualified accountant (A/FCA, A/FCCA or CIPFA).
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in strategic and financial management, analysis, and planning.
  • Have experience in internal and external audit, risk & assurance, and commercial expertise with high commercial acumen.
  • Be an active ambassador and champion of the organization.
