About the Role:

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing training, troubleshooting, and maintaining best practices for CRM usage.

  • The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in business, finance, management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, or a similar role is required.
  • The successful candidate will be able to coordinate with legal and commercial teams to address any identified risks or discrepancies in contract T&Cs.
  • A full driving licence is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Business System Management:

  • Oversee and manage internal business systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across sales and commercial teams.
  • Support the sales team by providing training, troubleshooting, and maintaining best practices for CRM usage.
  • Analyse internal data to identify trends, customer behaviour, and potential opportunities, providing insights to sales and commercial teams.

Contract Terms and Conditions Review:

  • Conduct initial reviews of contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and risk management guidelines.
  • Coordinate with legal and commercial teams to address any identified risks or discrepancies in contract T&Cs.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team on contractual requirements and assist in negotiations when needed.
  • Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to ensure all relevant information is included in tender responses.
  • Track tender opportunities and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and high-quality submissions.

Pricing Support and Analysis:

  • Assist in setting and updating pricing strategies, based on market research, competitor analysis, and profitability targets.
  • Work with commercial teams to develop pricing models for new products or services.
  • Provide pricing recommendations and support during the proposal and negotiation stages to meet both customer needs and revenue goals.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, plus an annual bonus. A fully expensed company car, including a fuel card, is also provided. In addition, you will receive 25 days' holiday per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays.
