Job Title: Phlebotomy Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at North Metro Knoxville Medical. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory process, working independently to collect blood samples from patients and prepare them for laboratory analysis.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting interviews with patients to gather medical history and identify potential risks
  • Taking vital signs and documenting patient information
  • Drawing and testing blood samples to screen donors at the blood bank

You will be working in a fast-paced laboratory setting, relying on your knowledge and expertise to perform your duties accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or related certification
