**Job summary**:
Are you an experienced, skilled, motivated Haematology nurse who is chemotherapy competent and looking for a new challenge?
Our Haematology Outreach service at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for providing a high standard of care for patients in the community with a variety of Haematology conditions; monitoring blood counts, undertaking nurse led reviews, administering systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) in patient's homes, coordinating treatment pathways, and offering end of life support.
You will work within an established service based at the QE, which is expanding to cover the East of Birmingham surrounding Heartlands and Solihull hospitals. Posts will be based at either QE or BHH. This is a development post that can be offered at band 6 or 7 depending on experience, you will be supported to achieve Non-Medical Prescribing, and to undertake the Non-Medical Authorisation of blood components course if not already in possession of these qualifications. You must have current competency for administering SACT. You will be forward thinking and ambitious, able to work autonomously. A full driving licence and car are essential to the role (mileage will be reimbursed as per Trust policy).

support staff working across sites
Ability to balance competing clinical demands and organise workload
Able to work independently
Prepared to undertake non-medical prescribing if not already competent
