Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and overseeing the daily operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store-wide goals.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
