Located in our Machine Shop at NOV Process and Flow Control, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines. Your primary duties will include manufacturing components to specifications, ensuring defect-free products, and reporting any issues to the Production Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture components to standards/procedures set out by NOV
  • Ensure all defects to materials, components, or equipment are reported to the Production Manager
  • Liaise with the Production Manager on customer, project, or other issues arising
  • Report any Environmental and Health & Safety issues
  • Train apprentices
  • Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures, and instructions are up-to-date prior to any work commencing
  • Ensure all gauges, gauge procedures are correct and current prior to use
  • Aid Project Engineers in selecting tooling and capital equipment
  • Be involved in Environmental and Health & Safety issues
  • Aid in creating risk assessments as and when required
  • Aid in proposing and introducing new machining techniques/machines to improve productivity or safety
  • Ensure personal compliance with all HSE Legislation and HSE Company Policy
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate
