European Shopper Marketing Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled European Shopper Marketing Controller to lead and shape the shopper marketing efforts for a prominent player in the Drinks industry across Europe.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies for Europe, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class activation plans.
- Lead and develop a pan-European shopper marketing team, providing clear leadership and development opportunities for team members.
- Create and execute tailored activation plans across markets, channels, and customers, aligning strategy with brand and category plans to achieve business objectives.
- Optimise resource allocation within agreed budgets, driving best-in-class execution at the point of purchase.
- Define and monitor shopper marketing KPIs for campaign success, managing budgets and agency relationships effectively.
- Support sales teams in developing annual account plans, reviewing and evaluating market, channel, and customer performance.
- Lead the introduction of new brands/products/packs, providing commercial acumen and familiar working with sales/commercial counterparts.
About You:
- Multi-Market Shopper or Customer marketing experience, with a proven track record in the FMCG industry at a senior level.
- Knowledge of the drinks industry with a passion for consumer-led brands, strong commercial acumen, and familiar working with sales/commercial counterparts.
- Proven leader who is comfortable managing direct reports remotely, with a people-first approach and a passion for driving business growth.
