European Shopper Marketing Director
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced European Shopper Marketing Director to lead and shape the shopper marketing efforts for a prominent player in the Drinks industry across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a shopper marketing strategy for Europe, aligning with brand and category plans to achieve business objectives.
- Lead and develop a pan-European shopper marketing team, providing clear leadership and development opportunities for team members.
- Create and execute tailored activation plans across markets, channels, and customers, driving best-in-class execution at the point of purchase.
- Define and monitor shopper marketing KPIs for campaign success, optimizing resource allocation within agreed budgets.
- Manage budgets and agency relationships effectively, supporting sales teams in developing annual account plans.
- Review and evaluate market, channel, and customer performance, leading the introduction of new brands/products/packs.
About You:
- Multi-Market Shopper or Customer marketing experience, with a proven track record in the FMCG industry at a senior level.
- Knowledge of the drinks industry, with a passion for consumer-led brands and strong commercial acumen.
- Proven leader who is comfortable managing direct reports remotely, with a strong understanding of shopper marketing principles and practices.
