Are you looking for a challenging role that combines your business acumen with your passion for HR? We are seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Human Resources team, supporting the Databases Organization within the Utility Computing organization.

AWS Utility Computing provides innovative services such as Amazon S3 and EC2, and consistently released new product innovations that set AWS apart in the industry. As an HR Business Partner, you will support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. This includes supporting customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and their leadership teams to develop talent strategies that support growth and employee development.
  • Work closely with specialist central HR teams and matrixed site and international HR colleagues to assess HR needs in areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, career development, diversity, and compensation/rewards.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
  • Analyze business metrics, including retention and employee experience data, to recommend systemic improvements.

**Salary:** $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role.
  • Strong judgment and experience coaching leaders.
  • Broad experience and knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, learning, and performance management.
