We are seeking an HR Business Partner Assistant to join our team at Protection Group International. In this role, you will provide support to the HR team and contribute to the delivery of HR projects across the HR lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to develop their skills and experience in HR. As an HR Business Partner Assistant, you will work closely with the HR team to deliver efficient people-centred HR support and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR function.

You will work on a hybrid basis from our Bristol office with occasional travel to our London office in a highly visible role that works across our business to ensure managers and colleagues are well-supported.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting inductions
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
  • Providing timely, pragmatic, accurate advice and guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of broader HR processes, systems, and practices
  • Managing and administering employee benefits
  • Participating in employee engagement initiatives and events

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 or above or foundational HR qualification is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing cases end-to-end with confidence and sensitivity
  • Solid knowledge and experience with UK employment legislation and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Resilience, practicality, and self-starter qualities; comfortable working independently and in teams
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Excellent time-management skills

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
