Job Overview:

Crane Venture Partners is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Market Business Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that targets mid-market businesses with 250-5,000 employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the needs of mid-market businesses.
  • Sales Outreach: Develop and execute a sales outreach strategy that targets key decision-makers and influencers within these businesses.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities and closing deals through effective relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across all departments.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS enterprise sales or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
  • A deep understanding of the technology industry and its trends, as well as a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A base salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location:

This role will be based in Central London, requiring a commitment to spending at least 5 days per week in the office. Occasional travel may be required for conferences and meetings.
