Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to support children with complex needs in a dynamic educational setting. This temporary position requires professionals with teaching or equivalent experience, specifically working with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD and implementing effective behaviour management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored education to students with complex needs, including SEMH/ASD/EBD.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Utilise evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviour and academic progress.
Requirements
  • Hold QTS status or equivalent qualification, with at least two years' experience teaching core subjects.
  • Possess background knowledge in English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes from KS1-KS5.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritising student well-being and safety.
Working Arrangements
  • Temporary contract type, term time only.
  • Work during school hours, 2 hours per day, 5 days a week.
  • A competitive rate of pay: £25-£35 per hour.
