Job Description: SEN Primary Teacher

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join our team in Oxford. As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN at the primary level.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider staff team, families, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
  • Regularly assessing and monitoring pupil achievement, adapting teaching strategies to meet targets outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Education or a related field and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting.
  • Possessing strong knowledge of SEND best practices and strategies, including an understanding of autism, ADHD, and other specific learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
