SEN Assistant Teacher Role

Academics Ltd in Oxford is seeking a dedicated SEN Assistant Teacher to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN). As a member of our team, you will work closely with experienced teaching staff to ensure the engagement and participation of students in learning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement IEPs and behavior management strategies to support students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess student progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Provide assistance with personal care and mobility for students with physical disabilities, as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are advantageous but not essential.
Salary: £26,000 - £36,000 per annum
