We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive team, working in partnership with children, young people, their families, and the children's workforce.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Speech and Language Therapy services, primarily within mainstream schools in Blackpool, Wyre, and Fylde.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing therapy services to support individuals aged 0-25 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within schools and as part of a multi-agency team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services, mostly within mainstream schools in Blackpool, Wyre, and Fylde.
  • To support universal best practice within settings and provide services directly and through others to support children and young people to reach their full potential.
  • To work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A qualified/registered Speech and Language Therapist with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience working within schools and as part of a multi-agency team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping.

Salary and Benefits

An attractive salary of £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with benefits such as a supportive team, opportunities to shape services, hours that suit your needs, and career development opportunities.
