Community Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult SLT team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Care Specialist, you will lead on the coordination and provision of evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy assessment, treatment, and intervention for adult service users living across the Fylde coast.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree, BSc (Hons) or MSc (Hons) or equivalent, and be registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. They will also possess specialist knowledge in adult acquired communication and swallow conditions, with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate clinical experience in assessment and management of this population group.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties:

Requirements:
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree, BSc (Hons) or MSc (Hons) or equivalent
* Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
* Additional recognised dysphagia training
* Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience in adult acquired communication and swallow conditions
* Post-graduate experience of developing and delivering specialist formal and informal training/presentations for a wide range of professionals, rehabilitation assistants, and carers
