Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join our team in North Lancashire. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to patients across the region. Your primary focus will be on conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support patients' recovery.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering essential NHS community mental health services, making a significant impact on patients' lives.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status to identify areas for improvement.
  • Administering medications and monitoring their effects on patients, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
  • A current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Proven experience working within a community recovery role, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Past experience working in CAMHS settings, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.

Working Hours and Contract Duration

This position requires flexibility, with hours from Monday to Friday. The contract duration is 3 months, providing an opportunity for professional growth and development. The salary for this role is £28.00 - £30.00 per hour, offering a good income for professionals in this field.
