Senior Learning Disability Lead

Athona is seeking a healthcare professional with strong leadership skills to fill the role of Deputy Home Manager in one of our specialist services for individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Home Manager to provide high-quality care and support to service users with severe learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
- Promote empowerment among service users and deliver effective supervision to staff members to ensure outstanding care delivery.
- Coordinate the on-call service, manage budgets, and lead by example to foster a positive learning environment.
- NVQ Level 3 or willingness to pursue it
- Proven track record in a senior healthcare role
- Understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and sensory processing issues
- Passion for enhancing clinical quality and care
- 33 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) – plus birthday off

5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5, with some weekend work
