Job Overview

The Empowering Learning school is seeking a dedicated and passionate SENDCo to lead its thriving Learning Development team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in influencing teaching and learning across the school.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on a substantial middle leadership role, with aspirations for future senior leadership. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will have high expectations for every learner, be enthusiastic and adaptable, and possess a strong desire to see SEND provision continue to grow.

With a proven track record of achieving excellent outcomes for students with additional needs, our school offers a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. As SENDCo, you will work closely with external partners to ensure the best support for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Learning Development team to deliver high-quality support to students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
  • Work closely with external partners to ensure the best support for our students.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
