About the Role

The University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Performance and Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for the effective management of inpatient and outpatient performance in the Corporate RTT Team, encompassing management of all administrative and performance teams.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will work alongside the A/GMs and other colleagues using the Trustwide RTT Patient Tracking List (PTL) and relevant reports to ensure delivery of high-quality and timely care is undertaken within the Divisions. The post holder will plan and coordinate resources within the COO Validation team to ensure achievement of access targets in line with National, regional, and Trust objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience of managing a range of staff or a major service
  • Significant experience of budgetary management, including management of contract income
  • Acute sector operational experience
  • Experience and proven ability in managing organisational/service change
