About the Role

The University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance and Operations Manager to join their Corporate Referral to Treatment (RTT) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to play a key role in the effective management of inpatient and outpatient performance across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Corporate RTT Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely care across the Trust.
  • Work closely with Divisional Assistant General Managers (AGMs), Performance and Operational Managers, and other colleagues to ensure the achievement of access targets in line with National, regional, and Trust objectives.
  • Monitor demand for services and ensure that the Trust achieves its key performance objectives.
  • Act as a lead for service improvement in booking processes to improve performance and support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of managing a range of staff or a major service.
  • Experience and proven ability in managing organisational/service change.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to produce and present analytical reports.
  • Ability to think and plan tactically and creatively to prioritise work programs in the face of competing demands and within resources.
