Superdrug Marketplace is an innovative extension of our existing business, integrating third-party sellers to offer customers a broader selection of their favourite products in a seamless shopping experience.
The Role:
As the Marketplace Growth Strategist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Marketplace by acquiring new business and nurturing existing sellers. Collaborating closely with the Marketplace Senior Manager, Account Manager, and Marketplace Trading Manager, you will drive our 'best in class' Marketplace proposition. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the rapid growth of Superdrug Marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seller Recruitment and Pipeline Development
Actively pitch and recruit new sellers to build a strategically focused seller pipeline.
Create compelling content to effectively pitch to potential sellers.
Stay updated on emerging market trends to ensure the seller pipeline reflects current opportunities.
Identify new category opportunities using market data and demonstrate their commercial potential. - Seller Onboarding and Compliance
Execute the go-live strategy for new sellers in collaboration with the Trading Manager.
Work with the Account Manager to ensure smooth and timely onboarding that meets both seller and Marketplace needs.
Ensure new sellers comply with Superdrug Marketplace's KPIs and standards. - Promotion and Communication
Support the Trading Manager by scheduling promotional activities for sellers in line with the event calendar.
Lead on comms for internal business communications and updates, highlighting opportunities, risks, and successes. - Performance Measurement and Reporting
Measure, report, and drive key inputs and outputs to ensure Marketplace seller growth.
Provide excellent administrative support, including creating and updating internal documentation.
Supporting with IT on feature development.
Key Competencies:

- Market Awareness; Stay informed on emerging trends and leverage market data to identify commercial opportunities.
- Collaboration; Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless seller onboarding and promotion.
