Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist mental health assessments and psychological support to patients with complex mental health needs.
Working closely with our clinical staff, you will provide time-limited liaison reviews for patients with enduring mental health needs, and advise non-psychiatry staff on the outcome of assessments and formulate care plans based on clinical intervention and risk management.
You will also contribute to the development and quality of clinical practice of liaison work with this client group at local and national levels, and provide mental health education, advice, and training to clinical staff and students.
