Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team at Mackenzie Jones. As a key member of our consumer goods team, you will be responsible for developing and executing shopper marketing strategies that drive sales and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual activation plans per customer: Work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and develop tailored activation plans that drive sales and brand growth.
  • Understand the impact of the retail environment on shopper behavior: Analyze the retail environment and identify opportunities to influence shopper behavior and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with sales and category teams: Work closely with our sales and category teams to understand commercial opportunities within retailers and identify ways to drive shopper conversion.
  • Present activation ideas to stakeholders: Develop and present compelling activation ideas to internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Lead the activation process: Oversee the activation process from brief development to project delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.

Requirements:

  • Brand, shopper, or agency background: Proven experience in shopper marketing or a related field, with a track record of delivering successful activation plans.
  • Insight-driven marketing: Ability to turn insights into marketing opportunities at the point of purchase.
  • Creative problem-solving: A creative and audacious problem solver who can inspire stakeholders to implement activation plans.
  • Relationship-building: Ability to build honest and genuine relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
