Clinical Coding Administrator Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Coding Administrator, where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate coding and classification of patient diagnoses and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the administration arrangements associated with admissions and outpatient appointments.
  • Liaising with theatres regarding booking of surgical procedures.
  • Collating data on service provided to private patients.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient records and adhering to data protection policies.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with strong communication skills and experience in a healthcare setting. Essential qualifications include a good basic education, computer literacy, and accuracy in keyboard skills.

Salary and Benefits
