Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the reception team of a busy healthcare facility, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring seamless communication with patients, relatives, medical and nursing staff.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Providing clerical support to the reception team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
- Liaising with medical and nursing staff to ensure that patient appointments and admissions are handled efficiently.
- Collecting data on service provided to private patients, including booking outpatient appointments and inpatient admissions.
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient records and adhering to data protection policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with strong communication skills and experience in a healthcare setting. Essential qualifications include a good basic education, computer literacy, and accuracy in keyboard skills.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
