EDEX is a leading education provider committed to delivering exceptional results for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated support assistant to join our team and work with a child with Autism in a primary school in Brent.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, and be able to use their creativity and imagination to engage pupils and create an inspirational environment.

As a support assistant, you will provide high-quality support to pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) with SEN requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside specialist staff and equipment such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydro therapists, and Psychologists.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£26,000 per year, depending on experience, and excellent benefits, including bespoke CPD opportunities and a strong inclusion team to support you.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN requirements.
  • Use creativity and imagination to engage pupils and create an inspirational environment.
  • Work alongside specialist staff and equipment, such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydro therapists, and Psychologists.

Estimated Salary: £25,500-£27,000 per annum, based on a full-time, full-academic-year contract, term-time only.
