We are currently seeking a Primary Class Teacher with a focus on autism to join our dynamic team at Autism Unlimited. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for teaching a key stage 1 class of seven students with autism, developing their communication, social interaction, physical, and independence skills. The curriculum will focus on play-based learning, including early reading, writing, and maths, as well as Attention Autism.

As part of our team, you will lead a group of teaching assistants, collaborating to ensure the class runs smoothly. You will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities, such as therapy pools and sensory rooms, enabling you to create innovative and engaging environments.

Our onboarding programme provides comprehensive training, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of each student's needs and develop tailored strategies for supporting them. You will also have opportunities to enhance your skills throughout your career with us, whether through sign language training or professional development.
