Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our CV-Library team in London. This role requires someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families, with strong analytical and communication skills.

About the Role:

This position involves managing complex child protection cases, collaborating with multi-agency teams, and providing support to families and children. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that children are safe and families receive the necessary support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address the needs of children and families
  • Work collaboratively with professionals from various agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children and families, promoting trust and understanding
  • Make informed decisions regarding child protection and welfare, taking into account relevant legislation and policies
  • Participate in case conferences and review meetings to ensure the best interests of children are represented

Requirements:

  • A Social Work qualification with HCPC registration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
  • Proven experience handling complex child protection cases and working within statutory children’s settings
  • Strong knowledge of social care theory, legislation, and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • A valid DBS check (preferred)

Benefits:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
