Job Summary:

This Full-time Social Worker position is based in Hertfordshire, working within our Family Safeguarding Team. You will contribute to the assessment, planning, and provision of support for children, families, or carers with complex needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with professionals to enhance the lives of children, young people, and families facing challenges.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, adults, and families to promote their well-being.
  • Utilise your expertise to audit family functioning and provide targeted support when needed.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of case activities and participate in planning forums.
  • Provide guidance, support, and expert advice to social care staff, students, and newly qualified social workers.
  • Engage with communities, families, and individuals to leverage their strengths and resources.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • CQSW, DipSW, BA Social Work, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant childcare legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
