Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Children’s Senior Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our family services team, you will be responsible for working with children, young people, families, and carers in meetings, listening to their concerns and perspectives.

  • Continuously reassess cases and refer to the Team Manager when necessary.
  • Manage and be accountable for social work practice with supervision and support.
  • Build honest relationships through clear communication, ensuring all involved understand the information shared.
  • Foster participation and feedback from service users to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Represent children, young people, families, carers, and partner agencies to access services.
  • Collaborate with others, sharing information to improve services for children, young people, families, and carers.
  • Work with statutory and voluntary agencies to support preventative strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a Children’s Senior Practitioner or similar role. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and partners.

Benefits:
