Support Services Coordinator

We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Part-time Support Worker at Northern Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently, manage their mental health, and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Person-Centered Support
- Empower individuals to manage their mental health, build resilience, and develop self-care routines.
- Assist with Daily Activities
- Support with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, medication management, budgeting, and attending appointments.
- Promote Social Inclusion
- Facilitate community involvement and social opportunities to reduce isolation and build meaningful connections.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals
- Work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other support staff to create and implement care plans.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records, write progress notes, and report concerns or changes in an individual’s mental health condition.
We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing. You don’t need prior experience in the field, just the motivation to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to making a difference.
Essential Requirements- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to Remain Calm and Patient in Challenging Situations
- Reliable, Flexible, and Able to Work Independently or as Part of a Team
We are looking at part-time hours and will try to accommodate part-time requests in line with the requirements of the service.
This role is based in Chester, at Beck House, and is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.
