Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Practice team, ensuring the effective use of searches, audits, and recalls. They will also support Practice members in the use of the clinical system, report problems as required, and assist with the completion of tasks produced by other Practice members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Practice team in the effective use of searches, audits, and recalls.
  • Support Practice members in the use of the clinical system and report problems as required.
  • Assist with the completion of tasks produced by other Practice members, ensuring accuracy.
  • Liaise with the workflow team and assist with this function.
  • Support with the recall of patients for Chronic Disease Management.
  • Support with the recall of patients for the IIF and any additional Network LES.
  • Assist with the recall system for cervical smears.
  • Assist the team with the administration of the children's immunisation programmes, ensuring children are invited to be vaccinated as appropriate.
  • Assist in the rollout of any new projects that come online and assist the team as required.
  • Work with the Admin team on the reporting systems for other Enhanced Services as required.
  • Assist with the relevant processes associated with the annual flu programme, COVID recall, and any other Public Health immunisation programmes as required.
  • Assist with the monitoring of the Bowel Screening programme and coding appropriately. Sending the relevant follow-up correspondence to non-responders to the screening programme.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of clinical systems and software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
