About the Opportunity

Cpl UK - Healthcare invites applications for a Senior Residential Home Leader position, focusing on supporting the delivery of exceptional care services in our children's residential home.

About the Job:

  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager to develop and implement strategies that promote the welfare and development of young people.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff members, ensuring they adhere to best practices in children's residential care.
  • Develop and lead staff training programs, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Support the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, working closely with external partners such as social workers and schools.
  • Maintain accurate records, participate in care reviews, and coordinate referrals to external agencies when necessary.
  • Promote a safe and healthy environment within the home, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to recruitment, induction, and staff management initiatives, ensuring optimal staffing levels.

Required Skills:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it).
  • Demonstrated expertise in children's residential care, showcasing strong leadership abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for empowering young people to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per year.
