We Manage Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Coordinator to join our team at John Henry Newman Catholic College.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with SEND and be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans for pupils with SEND, focusing on improved literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track pupil progress and inform future support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing valuable insights for teachers and senior leadership.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of pupil progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supporting pupils with SEND, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, adhering to college policies and procedures.
  • Passion for Catholic education and its values, with a desire to contribute to the spiritual growth and development of students.
Salary:

£25,992 annually
