Grand Circle Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Tour Leader Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for hiring and training trip leaders to deliver exceptional tours of Great Britain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire and train trip leaders to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
  • Coach trip leaders to deliver in-depth tours and exceed traveler expectations.
  • Manage trip leader performance to ensure they meet company guidelines and achieve excellence goals.
  • Create and schedule a high-performing trip leader team that embodies the company's culture and values.
  • Manage relationships with trip leaders and vendors.
  • Evaluate and act on quality issues from traveler and trip leader feedback.
  • Support trip delivery and development.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to head office.
  • Ability to work on the road and travel with trip leaders and groups in a training/coaching role.
  • Effectively interact with travelers on site to support trip leaders and obtain live feedback.
  • Ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Provide 24/7 emergency support and resolve operations/customer issues.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the UK.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong training/coaching skills.
  • Performance management experience.
  • Proven experience in the travel industry and staff management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
