Benefits Portfolio Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Benefits Portfolio Manager to join our Global Benefits team at National Grid. This role will provide strategic support to the Benefits Strategy in managing all aspects of the employee benefits portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing benefits within a large commercial organisation, with a deep understanding of the benefits marketplace in the UK. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining competitive benefits frameworks, managing flexible benefits systems, and conducting external benchmarking and networking.
The Benefits Portfolio Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that benefits frameworks are running effectively and efficiently. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective communication channels for the reward programmes, ensuring that they are fully understood and appreciated by employees.
This is a hybrid working role, with circa 2 days in the office. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in a complex and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the annual flexible benefits enrolment for approximately 9000 employees
- Develop and maintain competitive benefits frameworks
- Manage flexible benefits systems
- Conduct external benchmarking and networking
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels for the reward programmes
Requirements:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Proven experience of benefits within a large commercial organisation
- Knowledge of the benefits marketplace in the UK
- Experience managing flexible benefits systems
- Project management/implementation experience
What You'll Get:
