We are a well-established accountancy practice based in Chester, seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for stability and potential long-term progression.

This role is ideal for Payroll specialists looking to step up into a management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive advice to employees on payroll queries, and working to multiple deadlines.

Our ideal candidate will have technical skills, including relevant systems and strong Excel skills. A high volume, fast-paced environment with manual and automated calculations is expected. Client payroll experience is preferred but not essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required.
